Downtown

Downtown has it's own "Welcome" sign.

The Celebrity Nightclub located at 3rd and Ogden.  A popular live-music venue in Downtown.

Old passenger railroad cars line Main Street next to the Plaza Hotel in memory of the old train station that once existed on this site

In the 2007 movie, Lucky You, Dino's on Las Vegas Blvd was the establishment where Drew Barrymore's character, Billie Offer, got a lounge act job as a singer.

Neonopolis is a virtually empty entertainment complex on the east side of the Fremont Street Experience, once housing an 11-screen movie theater. Neonopolis featured three-miles of neon lights.  Rumors still circulate that the Star Trek Experience and the Museum of the Future will eventually be housed here.

The Golden Gate and the Las Vegas Club anchor the west-side of the Fremont Street Experience.

White Cross Drugs (between the Stratosphere and Downtown on Las Vegas Blvd) has operated at this location for over 60 years; note Tffany's Cafe (Las Vegas' first 24-hour restaurant)--the cafe serves up a hearty breakfast!

There are only three booths inside Tiffany's Cafe (the rest of the seating is at the counter)--if you want to enjoy movie memories, sit in the middle booth--this is where a long scene in 2007's Lucky You was filmed; Drew Barrymore, Eric Bana and Robert Duvall all sat in this booth during the movie.

Almost across the street from White Cross Drugs is the Oasis Motel--famous poker and gin rummy player, Stu Ungar, died here in room #6 in November, 1998.  Ungar won 5 World Series of Poker bracelets during his gambling career.
