The new interactive attraction opened on March 1, 2011 at the Tropicana (the Grand Opening occrred on March 29, 2011). The Las Vegas Mob Experience is more than a museum--visitors interact with characters throughout the attraction; special effects are generated by Disney. 

An aquarium in the ticket area--push down on the plunger to set off the dynamite seen inside the tank. The Mob Experience offers an annual membership with unlimited admission, a "front of the line" members-only entrance, e-mail newsletters, gift shop discounts, and room rate discounts provided by the Tropicana Las Vegas.

The Mob Experience Preview Center

The Preview Center was opened inside the Tropicana during the construction of the LVME. 

This is a photo of the entrance to the Las Vegas Mob Experience Preview, which displayed some exhibits from Las Vegas mobsters, provided information on the forthcoming attraction, and offered a variety of gifts and novelties for sale.
