A monorail pulling into the Las Vegas Convention Center station on Paradise Rd.

The Greek Isles Hotel and Casino located about a block east of the Strip on Convention Center Drive.  In 1972 the hotel opened as the Royal Inn, then became the Paddlewheel for a few years, before being bought by Debbie Reynolds in 1993.  The World Wrestling Federation at one time was an owner during the late 90's.  The hotel has a Mediterranean theme with 202 rooms.  The hotel was forced into bankruptcy in 2009 and has since been acquired by a new owner.

A rare commodity these days:  Kilroy's located near Flamingo and Grand Canyon--the only one left.  The location at Charleston and Buffalo closed. Kilroy's serves up a humongous hamburger and fries.

A monorail shooting down the rail along Paradise Road between the Las Vegas Hilton and the Convention Center.

The Palms on Flamingo Rd--where the young L.A. jet-set like to go.
