 | Formerly named Stateline, NV, Primm is the home of three casinos--Whiskey Pete's, Buffalo Bill's, and Primm Valley Resort. On the west side of I-15 is Whiskey Pete's, named for Pete MacIntyre who owned a gas station there in the 1920s. Pete made bootleg whiskey. Whiskey Pete died in 1933, but his unmarked grave was accidentally uncovered during the construction of the I-15 overpass that connects the Primm resorts; Pete was reburied in a nearby cave where he made moonshine. |
