Primm

Formerly named Stateline, NV, Primm is the home of three casinos--Whiskey Pete's, Buffalo Bill's, and Primm Valley Resort.

On the west side of I-15 is Whiskey Pete's, named for Pete MacIntyre who owned a gas station there in the 1920s.  Pete made bootleg whiskey.  Whiskey Pete died in 1933, but his unmarked grave was accidentally uncovered during the construction of the I-15 overpass that connects the Primm resorts; Pete was reburied in a nearby cave where he made moonshine.

Whiskey Pete's has 777 rooms.  Whiskey Pete's Casino was opened in 1977 by Ernest Primm--it was the first in the community.

Buffalo Bill's is on the east side of I-15 with Primm Valley Resort.  Buffalo Bill's is encircled by the Desperado rollercoaster (one of the fastest at 80 mph with a 225 foot drop), 1, 242 guest rooms, and a swimming pool that is shaped liked a buffalo.

Buffalo Bill's has two hotel towers:  the Annie Oakley (Tower A) and Buffalo Bill (Tower B).  Buffalo Bill's Casino opened in 1994.
