The Riviera

The Riviera opened on April 20, 1955; it is located in Winchester, NV.  The Riviera is noted for being the first high-rise on the Strip.  Liberace was the featured headliner during the resort's grand opening.

Now, the Riviera is one of the last of the old Vegas casinos in the era of the mega-casino resorts.  The Riviera was the ninth to open on the Strip.  Dean Martin was once a part-owner.

A lighted-ceiling at the Monte Carlo Tower elevators.  A mirror on the wall makes the ceiling look much longer.

A tribute to the long-running "Crazy Girls" topless revue at the Riviera--showing nightly in the Mardi Gras Theatres in the Crazy Girls Showroom.
