Shark Reef
(Mandalay Bay)

The entrance to Shark Reef--the aquarium tour begins on the second floor.  Shark Reef is located on a remote part of the Mandalay Bay property.  All the animals and fish on display are predators.

Golden Crocodile from Thailand.

Komodo Dragon.

Shark Reef is divided into three sections--this one is the Jungle.

Another area is called the Temple.  This buddha statue is a decoration in a tank.

The Temple and Shipwreck sections of the aquarium are separated by the Touch Pool--a very popular attraction for both kids and adults.  Here, Robyn is touching a ray.

Jellyfish--according to the Shark Reef Passport, have no eyes, ears or a mouth ... and no brain.  Jellyfish are comprised of about 96% water.

Looking up through the glass ceiling of a tunnel that runs through a shark tank.

Looking down the tunnel to the Touch Pool.

A very nice ornamental wall near the entrance to the tunnel that goes through the shark tank.

The largest tank is at the Shipwreck--the last exhibit of Shark Reef.

Giant bronze snakes (presumably Anacondas) widing around pillars near the exit.
