Stardust

The Stardust was imploded on March 13, 2007.   The 32-story tower was only 16-years old when it was destroyed:  Built in 1991.

The twinkling stars of the Stardust sign are now located in the Boneyard.

Wayne Newton performed at the Stardust from 1999 to 2005.  Siegfried and Roy got their start on the Strip there.  The last act to perform in the Stardust Theater was Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme; the theater closed October 28, 2006.

The Royal Nevada was the casino that had been on the property before the Stardust opened.  The Stardust was imploded to make way for the Echelon Place.  The casino had a 48-year run for 24-hours a day:  July 2, 1958-November 1, 2006.
